1. Service and parties

xDROP EG (شركة إكس دروب إيجي لنقل الركاب) provides a website describing the service and receiving school enquiries, and a software platform for organising school transport. Browsing the website or submitting an enquiry does not create a service contract, booking or payment obligation.

A school uses the platform under a written agreement defining scope, users, period and any fees. Parents and bus team members use it through permissions approved by the school.

2. Platform functions and limits

The platform helps a school manage student, route and stop information; record boarding, drop-off and absences; follow bus location during a trip; send updates; and produce operational reports, according to the subscribed functions.

Events and locations depend on connectivity, accurate information and user input. Updates may be delayed or unavailable. A displayed position or notification alone is not conclusive proof that a student boarded or was handed over.

3. Accounts and permissions

The school approves its account users and each role’s access, and reviews access when staff move or leave. Users must safeguard their sign-in details and must not share accounts or enable access by unauthorised people.

Suspected unauthorised access or a lost account should be reported to the school or support promptly so appropriate action can be taken. Identity checks may be needed before access is restored or changed.

4. Acceptable use

Use the platform for the agreed school transport purposes and respect the privacy of students and staff. Deliberately false data, attempts to bypass permissions, unauthorised extraction of others’ data, disruption of the service and misuse of its interfaces are prohibited.

Do not submit student lists or sensitive information through the public enquiry form. DROP and the school may address misuse under the agreement and applicable law, taking account of service continuity and relevant rights.

5. School and transport-provider responsibilities

The school sets routes, stops and authorised users; reviews the accuracy of information it supplies; obtains required parental consents; and gives parents the information they need about the service. It also directs its staff and any chosen transport provider or bus supervisors.

Vehicles, their roadworthiness, drivers, supervisors, on-the-ground student supervision, handover and field safety are the responsibility of the school or its contracted transport provider under their arrangements. DROP supplies the software specified in its service agreement.

6. Monitoring and emergencies

The bus map and notifications assist monitoring. They do not replace direct contact with the school or bus team or on-the-ground checks. When location updates are delayed, use the school’s approved channels to confirm the situation.

The platform is not an emergency or rescue service. In an incident or safety risk, follow the school’s emergency plan and contact the appropriate authorities directly.

7. Information and privacy

The school determines the purposes and instructions for its students’ information; DROP handles it within its agreed role. Each user must keep information they access confidential and use it only for authorised purposes.

The Privacy Policy describes information categories, sources, retention and individual requests. New categories of information or disclosures require suitable notice and arrangements before use.

8. Availability, support and changes

DROP aims to provide the agreed functions and handle support reports through the channels and service levels in the school agreement. Maintenance, connectivity failures or third-party services may temporarily interrupt access or delay updates.

Where a change materially affects school operations or the handling of its information, its contractual and privacy effects should be reviewed and appropriate notice given under the agreement. This section does not promise uninterrupted availability.

9. Fees, term and cancellation

Prices, applicable taxes, trial periods, payment, renewal and subscription termination are set only in a written proposal or school agreement.

At the end of service, school information is handled under its agreement, written instructions and applicable law. Any needed export or return, deletion and closure of service accounts should be coordinated.

10. Ownership and content

School and student information remains subject to the rights of its owners and the school agreement. Platform use does not grant a right to copy its software, design or marks, resell the service or make it available to others beyond the agreed licence.

The school should have authority to enter the information and content it supplies and review its accuracy during use. Technical feedback or requests are subject to the written agreement where applicable.

11. Contact and final provisions

Send general enquiries and support reports to support@dropeg.com. Avoid sending student information to a general mailbox until a suitable secure channel is agreed. The approved school agreement determines formal notices, dispute resolution and governing law.

These terms may be updated as the service or legal requirements change. A general website notice does not replace a signed school agreement; changes affecting a school’s rights are handled under the agreed process.
